MARJAN KHOSRAVI

 Marjan Khosravi is an Iranian filmmaker from the Bakhtiari community whose work explores women’s autonomy, social inequality and the effects of cultural and environmental change on rural life. Her films include The Snow Calls, The Dream of a Horse and Mrs. Iran’s Husband, winner of Best International Short Documentary at Hot Docs 2023. Her debut feature documentary, Requiem for a Tribe, premiered in competition at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2024.

MILAD KHOSRAVI

Milad Khosravi is an Iranian film producer and the founder of Seven Springs Pictures, established in 2020. Working across fiction and documentary, he focuses on arthouse, auteur-driven and socially engaged cinema from Iran and the wider Middle East. His producing credits include Terrestrial Verses, Requiem for a Tribe, Divine Comedy, Falling House and A Bit of Light. Through Seven Springs Pictures, he develops international co-productions and supports filmmakers whose work explores urgent social, cultural and political realities.

ALI ASGARI

Ali Asgari  is an acclaimed Iranian filmmaker and screenwriter whose work explores social injustice, personal freedom, and the lives of people navigating the restrictions of contemporary Iranian society. His feature films include Disappearance, Until Tomorrow, Terrestrial Verses, Higher Than Acidic Clouds, Divine Comedy, and A Bit of Light. His films have been presented in major sections at Cannes, Venice, Berlinale, IDFA, and other leading international festivals.

MOHSEN GHARAEI

Mohsen Gharaei is an Iranian film director and screenwriter. 
He co-directed his first feature film, Don’t Be Tired! (2013), and gained international recognition with Blockage (2017), which won Best Film in the New Currents section at the Busan International Film Festival. He later directed and co-wrote Majority (2020), which was well recognized in national and international markets. 

LALEH MARZBAN

Laleh Marzban is an Iranian actress recognized for her nuanced and emotionally powerful performances in contemporary Iranian cinema and television. Laleh appeared in several notable productions including Under the Smoky Roof (2017), directed by Pouran Derakhshandeh, New Moon Hotel (2019), and the social drama series Majority (2021). Her breakthrough performance came with The Night Guardian (2022).

SADAF ASGARI

Sadaf Asgari is an acclaimed Iranian actress who made her debut in Disappearance (Venice Film Festival, 2017). Renowned for her versatility and authenticity, she has appeared in internationally celebrated films including Yalda, a Night for Forgiveness (Berlinale, Sundance 2019), Until Tomorrow (Berlinale 2022), Terrestrial Verses (Un Certain Regard, Cannes 2023) and Divine Comedy (Venice Biennale Orizzonti 2025). Winner of multiple Best Actress awards, including at Sundance and Cabourg, Asgari has built a remarkable career across Iranian and international cinema, establishing herself as one of the most compelling voices of her generation.

BARAN SARMAD

Baran Sarmad is an independent Iranian filmmaker. Her films include ‘Spotted Yellow’ (Locarno 2019, Short Films Competition – as writer and director) and ‘Orthodontics’ (Cannes 2020, Short Film Competition, Palme d’Or nominee – as producer and production designer). In 2022, she was invited to the Locarno Filmmakers Academy to develop her debut feature film, ‘Mellow Pink’. In 2024, ‘Mellow Pink’ was selected for the Pop Up Film Residency, supported by CNC.

GOZDE KURAL

GOZDE KURAL Born in 1987 in Ankara, Turkey. She studied at Istanbul Bilgi University. After receiving her degree in Film productions, she started her career as an assistant director. She produced and directed three short films and she has written and directed her first feature film titled ‘’Dust’’ in 2015 which was shot in Afghanistan.

ALIREZA KHATAMI

Alireza is an award-winning Iranian-American filmmaker based in Canada. Born into the indigenous Khamse tribe in Iran, he is influenced by his heritage’s rich storytelling traditions. His films poignantly investigate the interconnection of memory, trauma, and power dynamics, often through a philosophical lens and with a dark sense of humor.

ADIB SOBHANI

Adib Sobhani is an Iranian cinematographer. After 12 years of successfully working with acclaimed cinematographers (Hossein jafarian and payman shadmanfar) and filmmakers (Oscar-winning Asghar Farhadi- The Salesman, 2016), he made his first debut in 2018 as DOP in feature film “Amir” which was nominated at Karlovy Vary Film Festival…

BAHRAM ARK

Bahram Ark (b. 1989, Tabriz, Iran) is an Iranian filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. Along with his twin brother, Bahman Ark, he graduated from the Iranian National Film School and has created several award-winning short and feature films that blend folklore, myth, and the surreal with contemporary social and political realities.

FERESHTEH HOSSEINI

Fereshteh Hosseini (born April 26, 1997) is an Iranian-Afghan actress known for her powerful
performances in Iranian cinema and television. Born in Tehran to Afghan parents, Fereshteh’s story is one of resilience and determination.
